Hello chat, so yesterday I asked arthub if they think they have skyhall knows what a pizza is.
Further discussion revealed that they probably have really bad cuisines (debated to be worse than British cuisine) because of what they might have up there in the sky.
So I ditched every other project just to work on this. Sorry if it’s not that funny I made this quickly

Honestly skyhall has access to:
Bird… fishing??? (please vetex make it happen it’d be hilarious)
Magically boosted fruits and mushrooms that apparently boosts its flavor and nutritional quality.
Anything that can be planted and grown in said much better sky variants.
All with the same golden variations food from below has.
Their food is probably great but could be improved upon with the addition of fish.
Clearly they just need to find a stormcloud sky island with a bunch of water in it and create sky fish so they can top the people below them even in that!
They should atleast be able to make sky freshwater fish, even if they can’t get saltwater.
I wonder how this guy would react to a Sailor Style user. Also wait- lemon on pizza!? How would that taste?

we had a small segment on this. Knife propose skyhallians hunt birds for food. Personally I call it “Sky birding”
vegatation is probably sweeter than their sea counterpart, fruits definitely but what does mean for vegetables?
Meat/Protein is also probably weird up there. I questioned if they had cows and pigs. Probably not so = no milk, no bacon, no cheese

They can get water from clouds so that’s probably normal.

My personal interpretation of sky enhanced food is that it takes the flavor the original food has and amplifies it.
like a sky lemon would taste more lemon than a lemon and you’d need less of it to season something to get the same result from normal lemons.
oh yeah, speaking of seasoning.
since they don’t like the sea, and salt comes from the sea, they probably don’t have salt up there
I’d guess they probably have trade with sea based kingdoms to get salt alongside other things given that they 100% have access to arcanium gear.
Some of them, though, probably see fish and think “what in the HELL are they eating???”
Oh yeah, I bought this up too and uh
I assume the nutrition of the food would need to be amplified aswell, to cover up for the lack of sodium in their diets.
I think Ghostly’s interpretation butchers the taste of the pizza more here, as I suspect the skyhallian chefs in Theoretical’s interpretation would definitely be able to season things right.
(you are NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO MAKE SWEET WORK WITH PIZZA do NOT create an arcane odyssey version of pineapple on pizza.)
To be fair I don’t think we have confirmation that they actually in universe hate sea based kingdoms unless I’m wrong about that.
They do absolutely need to do trade, like, as a kingdom that isn’t a choice they have to not do.
You get arcanium from the sea.
I do recall an NPC dialogue from Ravenna or something talking about the Skyhallians hating them, but I will have to check myself.
true, this is mostly my headcanon that they don’t like sea people so much they won’t even interact with them
information is very limited on skyhall in general so a lot of things is just my delusions
