yeah
oj ymum ghodo
650% less damadam on an extremely situational and hard to pull off freezing combo that requres 2 people and 99% of times the opponent just magic jumps out!??!?!1
I will use snow on my warlock file because i think a magic that obscures the opponent’s vision a bit could be pretty useful when you go into close quarters with your fighting style. Also I just like cold magics more
ahem
I rest my case
okay so I messed up on one thing
still my point stands how snow is inferior to ice in pretty much every way
(and to a lesser extent sand)
oops
it was like 12 AM for me can’t really be blamed
Yeah you’re good, I thought you were right for a moment too until I looked at it for a few seconds
beyond that however I feel like everything else seems solid
According to Meta’s stats doc, Snow is:
- faster
- same size
- same damage
- clears more status effects
So apart from damage interactions, what does ice really outclass it in?
Clash rates, the second most useless stat in the game rn
0.2x speed is better
Heat magics are the most commonly used in the game too
bro listen to yourself
“guh huh oh yea uh 0.2x speed is DEFINITELY better than 40% MORE FREE DAMAGE FROM THE MOST COMMON EFFECT IN THE GAME”
yea but let’s be real nobody is gonna suddenly pause to shift if they get a status effect during a fight so there’s usually a good window to try and land like a beam
T jump and charge for 0.5 seconds to avoid taking 40% more damage isn’t a dumbass move
Or just block it
kinda is a waste of time ngl (idk but personally I like more offensive play), and if you’re starting to get low on stamina, that’s when bleed can really become a menace
when shield breaks:
also you can just apply this logic to pretty much every magic, just because you can block an attack doesn’t suddenly make it super shit
Bruh woj takes like 20 attacks to break
okay so what shields can block attacks
doesn’t mean ice is suddenly worse than snow
