What’s the difference between walking over vast areas of land over sailing over vast areas of sea? They will both take around the same amount of travel time, so it just boils down to preference.

For me I walk. Enjoy the land. Burn every bandit and dark wizard into a bloody burnt crisp and fight some bosses. An enthusiastic walk for a fuckmothering wizard.

Yeah, I might make a Game Discussion topic on how people want infamy to be earned when the Building update comes out to collect some data for a suggestion. I do agree with the fact that the game wasn’t ready for guilds yet. It needed more content before guilds should have come out.

sailing between islands is always a nice break from everything
I liked the idea of a continent and also found no problems with getting to level 150 before flying.

Personally, the reason I enjoy continents is that it’s sort of a mini-adventure whenever you cross it. What landmarks will you find? What encounters will you face? If only there was more incentive to visit these landmarks outside of “oh more chest…”, and if there was just more activity. Though now I think about it, I think Vetex’s style is better suited to islands rather than a massive continent.
Honestly I’m fine with either tbh. Depending on how vetex executes it an island or a continent could work or fail.

i like continents because i prefer walking than using boats, all i can see when sailing is just water, but in continents i can see trees, ruins, rivers, hills, and a lot of different stuff rather than just boat from point A to B

these are just example islands i didnt include different terrain colors or landmarks
at least when the game becomes islands make the islands huge like maybe 2-3 WoM areas size (examples of areas being ashen volcano or southern riverlands) or else AO will get the pokemon emerald treatment of having too much water

same goes with npc boats, they could/probably will just be moving bandit camps
