are these shape options completely cosmetic, or do they have some kind of effect like smaller hitbox w/ more damage?
They affect the hitbox and stats of the spell (speed, damage)

Damn if vetex keeps on dropping these banger changes i might unlock the new prometheus ink magic
I wonder if shapes will extend to other things as well, like explosions and beams. Doubtful but that’d be a nice thing to see.
Shape option will exist for explosion attack but at least from what we know, not for beams
