wearing a blasted/superheated modified armor piece will do 5 damage to you constantly because of the fact that it is probably scorching fucking hot

i love how cernyx is just impossible to fight half the time because of all the GODDAMN DUST
don’t think they’re doing much about it in full release either since most of the skills that got showcased are MASSIVE, specially that one fighting technique, aftershock I think
We hate doing cernyx at the intended level, he’s only hard because you can barely see him

that would actually make the blinking a relevant mechanic, and some might actually find it interesting or fun
having blinking being in the game for no reason other than to be annoying is worse
hes not that bad damage wise, but he constantly sends you flying and or gets stuck on the side of his arena making you take unnecessary damage
Reduce the damage of everything in the Dark Sea by 80%, including enemies, environmental damage—everything.
However, you can no longer regenerate health until you re-enter the War Seas. Healing potions also do not work while above 40% HP.
You no longer can be wiped out instantly, but the longer you stay and the more damage you take, the more risk you’re in.
Edit: oh yeah also you immediately jump to full HP when re-entering the War Seas, because otherwise we’d have an increase of Player Pirates jumping people right as they come back.
So rather than having it so spending 2 hours in the dark sea is risky because every second you spend in the dark sea there’s a small chance you’ll randomly get struck by lightning, which ragdolls you so that you get swept off your boat by a wave, immediately being water poisoned while helplessly being carried off, only to immediately get attacked by a shark you can’t fight back against because you’re a weapons user and lost a limb to the lightning strike, and to have a random Magic Tornado spawn directly on your boat while you’re trying to swim back, lifting you away so water poisoning kills you and your ship sinks because it needs to tank the tornado damage by starting up the sails in the middle of a tornado while a random Dark Sea brig pulls up out of nowhere, leaving the one teammate you brought with you without a boat, rather than that you’d instead have it so the dark sea is risky because you’ll inevitably aquire numerous smaller injuries that’ll build up slowly over time and very likely kill you if you disregard the risk and continue in spite of low HP, and also allow you to extend your time in the Dark Sea by playing slower to avoid threats and save a good amount of buffer HP against getting obliterated by the next enemy?
