So your idea is to add a variation of armor that is in no way better than normal armor aside from cosmetic value. The trading scene is already screwed up enough as it is, with the only items having any actual value being sunken and boss items. Adding an even rarer variant of those items would just make the problem even worse. This is not something that would be worth putting effort into. We already have variety in color in a majority of items, and I’m sure particle effects will exist in late-game gear.
