This feature is to add some tweaks for hazards for gameplay purposes. Also gives an actual use for terrain destruction.
Basically, this change allows for custom fun puzzles for the player to explore with. It allows for more puzzles to be added in the future.
Example: (Destruction side)
- A lever which is out of reach but you can use a ranged skill to knock it backwards to activate a door
- A switch on the ceiling to be pushed by attacks to illuminate the area (extremely good for something like abyssal sea charts to light up the area)
- A destruction puzzle where you need to destroy a circuit to deactivate a trap
- Bursting a stamina bubble in the abyss to regain stamina to swim up easier or in mid air to get more air-time with your glider
- Destroying a very tough box which is full of goodies
^ this much is unnecessary
The more destruction you have, the easier it is to do these puzzles without having to cast more attacks to break them.
As for hazards, some hazards are able to interact with some other attacks and other hazards, causing some… combos… Potentially expanding the variety of builds to be made by players
Example: (Hazard side)
- You can make light magic bounce off of glass from lightning magic turning sand into glass or just plain old glass shards
- Shadow magic mixing with fire(as the hazard) to form shadow flame that when touched, will cause faster burning
- Earth rubble hit by crystals magic to form barriers and walls.
- Thermofist charging faster from burning from fire(hazards)
- Powder Fist hitting explosive barrels to make explosions that are 1.5x larger etc.
This might help getting ideas through for some more build variety
