argos is more block focused, calvus albeit rare does parry and carina blocks and parries all the time like the bastard she is
npcs have goated aim, debatably better than yoshi8me
but caesennia is a trained soldier, and a high ranking one at that
she’s stationed in rubica, the capital of ravenna, meaning that shes obviously skilled with everything she has
not only this, but dual bronze flintlocks are ANOTHER unique weapon, which gives her ANOTHER unique boss drop, which makes her EVEN MORE special
also i just noticed she has a special animation pack and i really want it bc it looks cool
carina should be banished from the ravenna realm for being too cracked
vetex was really showcasing his good game design by giving one of the most mobile bosses hp regen and excessive parrying
on fucking god

it’s so fun to have your well planned attack that requires immense skill to execute on carina have it’s damage reduced by 90%
When you say strongest do you mean like physically strongest or just like overall fighting capability strongest? Cause if its the latter the strongest general in Ravennan history is my goat Veridia. Most people probably don’t even remember her, but Zaix, the wave curse user, said she beat him in every sparring match so that puts her at the top of Ravenna generals. Unless General Oliver, who most people also probably don’t remember, is stronger but he has even less info about him so I’m betting on the goat Veridia.

then again we don’t know how powerful the wave curse is
i feel like in the juraserva questline we’ll find out either argos was on the battlefield of cassia town and thats why avery walker and mr crown prince of the thorne empire ran away with fear in their eyes
I feel like if he was there he would have been mentioned in Zaix’s journal cause that’s kinda weird detail to leave out especially if he was the strongest general there. I guess it is still possible Argos was stronger than Zaix and Veridia in his prime though, but I don’t know if I’d bet on that. Pretty sure Thorne running away in fear had more to do with the experimental curse landing on Caesar and half-reviving him rather than Argos sweeping house.

also i was thinking argos had literally just shown up, and that his fame was enough of a deterrent for them
Argos probably became General or gained most of his notoriety after that battle.

It just says “he was dead for a while before being resurrected” which is kinda hard to tell as to how long that is. A while could be months or years, but it also could’ve been like a couple hours. Given what we know about the whole ordeal it seems mostly likely, at least to me, that Caesar died the day before and then got resurrected as Zaix was incapacitated after fighting with Avery Walker for the last time. Also if it had been months or years after that kinda brings up the question of why the rest of Ravenna just left his corpse unburied in the middle of the ruins of Cassia Town. Also brings up the question of why all the other bodies were there.
The Prince of Thorns is described as a “monster that only shows up once every 100 years”. If Argos was so powerful as to be deterrent for Thorne than Zaix probably wouldn’t have described the PoT as such cause clearly that type of monster shows up twice every century. Also if Argos was the reason Thorne ran away than that means he took back the island completely which means he must’ve just left Zaix for dead then cause, at least according to JTN, Avery made it out alive despite being in the same or worse condition than Zaix. If that’s the case then if Argos had control over the island than he’d have to have left Zaix to die in order for him to not have survived. That doesn’t really seem like something Argos would do especially considering Zaix’s value as a curse user with an especially good curse. Like not even gonna stab him with his trusty devourer so he can at least salvage the wave curse?

However, I guess it is possible that if Argos got the wave curse he would have handed it over to the order instead as Calvus likely wouldn’t have been inducted into the order yet. I still don’t think that’s what happened cause I think I’ve made it clear the reason Thorne retreated was cause of zombie Octavious in which case Argos would not be able to recover Zaix or the curse. However, if Argos did manage to somehow grab Zaix and escape Cassia Town while he was still alive during the chaos then it could be possible that he removed it with a devourer and handed it to the order. I still heavily doubt this, but there is a slim possibility.
