technically no, they’d probably just have to work a bit harder to get to that point
you were probably just using this as an example but the amount of magic used in a magic blast isn’t a set value. a berserker can absolutely get to a point of aura usage where they’re stronger than MOST magic users and can obliterate their magic blasts with an aura-infused punch, it’s just more difficult for them to do so
yea ok “human limitation” but like, mages are humans too, are they not subject to the same limitations as we are? are mages just suddenly not humans now?
now it’s a question of why zerkers seemingly just can’t get as much “magic” as mages can when they’re literally both pure builds and are supposed to be counterparts of eachother.
There’s not really any reason to force it to be this way either. The people that can best interact with the power system are going to be the strongest. Settings where that gap can be breached by regular people are cool, but it is neither necessary nor inherently good writing for that to be the case.
The guys who don’t have to deal as much with aging for centuries? I think they might be a little different.
cause magic users harness far more magic energy through the use of magic circles. magic circles are humanity’s way of tapping into the power of chaos in greater amounts. if that same berserker were to unlock magic use and start harnessing magic circles to become a warlock, they would have it just as easy as a mage
classes don’t exist in lore so this stuff is a lot more fluid anyway
this was a lame as hell decision by vetex, I’m fully onboard the lore hatetrain for this retcon
