Exact lore is in a weird state rn, but if you’ve seen Vetex’s messages on stuff I wouldn’t count on minds staying non-canon, or spirit energy levels staying tied to someone’s ability to use magic. Also the superhuman-ness of a zerker and mage are pretty different to say the least. Enhanced physical capability and very very minor control over magic, relative to mages at least, is not the same as what mages do.
Trying to act like the superhuman nature of berserkers and magic-users are the same is very disingenuous to say the least. Just because the limits for humans in this setting aren’t the same as real life doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

Is magius still canon? I thought all of wom just got wiped from existence entirely. But if it will still get raised yeah that’s nice. A big continent with room for more people that’s harder to travel over would definitely be nice.
I feel like this whole topic is kinda pointless. Aura is the fighters using what little magic energy they can muster to perform tasks that are easy for a magic user (iron coating, raising your temp for heat attacks, water attacks etc). Which is why they will always be at a innate disadvantage.

I think the reason that other systems work is because even though there’s RNG involved, there’s still ways to level out the playing field, whereas with AO it’s just “you can shit out some fake magma or you can’t and now you’re doomed to become fodder”
