No? Who the fuck told you that minds not being canon would mean that? They’ve always been just using trace amounts of magic in the air to improve their attacks. Forgive me if I’m forgetting something, but minds not being canon doesn’t seem to provide anyway for them to make that any stronger than it already is once they know how to do it. At least not in any way relative to the people who can actually control magic to do far more stuff than that.
Heck reading the lore doc the only thing they seemed to have affected when they were canon were the numbers of magics you could use.
isn’t the entire point of a mind like, what lets mages use magic to begin with (not anymore clearly but whatever my point still stands)
with that removed, basically anyone can theoretically gain magic abilities from my understanding (through weapons/strength)
I wouldn’t be surprised if this whole minds no longer existing thing was just someone misunderstanding what Vetex said… again.
Okay so rn, based on Vetex’s messages, minds could be canon again? Its weird. If you were to read the lore doc rn you’d learn people could unlock magic by increasing the amount of spirit energy in their body. BUT Vetex has stated in a message I believe in the patreon chat that that isn’t canon anymore and he just hasn’t changed the lore doc yet, so chances are minds or something like minds are probably back(personally I prefer that anyways cause I like that the energies aren’t dependent on each other). I’m ngl it is kind of annoying how lore is revealed that way, but that’s a different topic. Anyways point is even in the mind not-existing canon it wouldn’t have allowed aura tracing to be stronger.

Maybe? I don’t remember a lot of what he said, but a lot of his awakening dialogue is non-canon because awakenings work different in lore.
I feel like keeping track of the lore was easier if we just waited until it was stated in-game tbh, would probably save everyone a lot of time

dubious you main shadow savant you cannot be talking about “strength is too weak” like my guy, you can imbue magic onto strength canonically to make it just as powerful
