One day, you are mysteriously sent a package from an unknown address to your front door.
Upon opening the package, inside contains a wooden box with a shiny button on it.
a small pamphlet comes with the button as well, and it seems like you can’t press the button until you read what it has to say.
upon reading, the purpose of the mysterious box is given to you.
It’s a powerful, magical device that claims to be able to bring upon “justice” to those who’ve wronged you in ways severe enough to leave you emotionally/physically hurt in an impactful way, such as a childhood bully, a toxic lover, some asshole online who wouldn’t stop stalking you, etc etc.
however, the issue is, the box claims it cannot tell you what will happen to these people, as the punishments are completely random.
it can be as mild as making someone spill their drink on their shirt in public, or it can be as severe as a catastrophic event that makes headlines, your target not alive to tell the tale…
HOWEVER, there’s another thing…
The box says that you can request 1 specific person to receive a fate of your choosing.
Do note the pamphlet for the box says this person MUST be someone who’s wronged you in a significant way, it cannot be someone you barely know, such as a politician or a random celebrity you don’t like, and it can’t be a satirical answer, such as a friend you’re wanting to mess with.
their life is now in your control, it seems like a deal almost too good to be true, and yet, here it is…
Now the question is simple.
do you press the button?
do you wish to take this once and a lifetime opportunity to finally get back at those who’ve hurt you? those who’ve mocked you?
and if so… are you aware of what possible consequences could arise…?
- I press the button.
- I do not press the button.
for reference: in order for something to be “significant” in pertaining the actions of bullies and abusers, it must be something that has given you a decent/severe amount of mental/physical anguish, such as being teased and shunned by a large group of kids for a prolonged amount of time, or being beaten up by a drunk failure of a father/mother, things that aren’t valid would be someone who you don’t particularly agree with online, or a stranger you had a minor altercation with and never met again.
oh, and one more thing.
No loopholes allowed.
