I was asking ChatGPT for help with Warrior, and I accidentally gave it the description of Conjurer, and it gave me Spellblade.

anyways this is really all I got from google for a result on “magic warrior synonym” / “magic knight synonym” and such
Conjurer is weird because other names for it can sound lame asf or could be more confusing than anything
after one google search i think Templar could actually better fit as a replacement to Knight, since the knights templar was a religious order of knights and the religious aspect could display ties to the gods, since knights make use of spirit weapons from said gods

imma throw in what i think the classes should be renamed to, based on information i have absorbed throughout this thread and the rest of the forums aswell as a couple of thoughts i had
Conjurer → Battlemage
Knight → Paladin / Templar
Warlord → Gladiator (proposed by beetwee24)
Warlock → Pit Mage (based on pit fighting for the hand-to-hand combat portion, mage for the magic portion)
Paladin → Conjurer (conjurers conjure, which is the process of summoning spirits through means of magical ritulals (probs dont make much more sense than conjurers being mag+wep but i cant think of anything better))
juggernaut → Monk
Mage, Oracle, Warrior, Savant and Berserkers change to Fighter is fine as is i think
I’d also suggest spellblade for conjurer and shaman for paladin, as changing paladin to conjurer could be confusing for older players
i saw in this thread a screenshot of fluect (i think?) saying on discord that spellblade is blacklisted but Idk how credible or real that is

If you use a gun, does that make you a Spellgun?
I still think Artificer or Augur are better renames for Conjurer.
But I also think Kinetic makes sense for Warrior, so I may not be credible.
yeah but then i’d be a sand artificer (not a terrible rename tho)
Conjurer is kind of the only good thing that goes with sand.

also “intuitive” is literally just false cause all of these new names are more time consuming and write out and say than the old ones
edit ik this is all “over” now but i think what we saw here isnt a good precedent for the future (i should proabbly bold that)
