Disclaimer: Please do not argue about the Deepwoken in this thread, and instead have an orderly discussion about your problems here. This thread isn’t about Deepwoken, I just used the title as clickbait.
For those unaware, the peak player count of World of Magic was around 10k near release in 2020, something that was difficult to achieve for many games at the time. Yeah, it was a fun game and all, but the amount of people actively engaging in it eventually dwindled down to a few thousand.
The year is now 2023, and Roblox has now quadrupled in its playerbase, with popular games hitting the 10k mark being a norm. Heck, the games on the front page average a tenth of a million players, which is quite literally insane. Like, look at fucking Blox Fruits, with 450,000 CONCURRENT PLAYERS… DAILY. Compared to World of Magic, there’s going to be much, MUCH more people playing Arcane Odyssey, and while that may be a good thing in some cases, it’s going to be much more chaotic in others as well.
At the moment, Deepwoken Youtubers have been advertising AO like mad. Yeah, it’s increasing the game’s overall population, but it’s also carrying over their community to this game as well.
Deepwoken Players are quite… interesting individuals, but there are a few points I want to make with you guys:
- The majority of them only play Deepwoken cause there’s literally nothing else on this forsaken platform. It’s not their fault that they have nothing else to play.
- Yes, they’re toxic
- They are… very determined. Think about it, they continuously replay a game over and over again, they constantly have to PVP knowing that at any moment, their progress will disappear forever. Now imagine these type of people playing the hit game Arcane Odyssey, where their progress being reset is no longer an issue. The horrors
A lot of them, along with other players in the ROBLOX RPG community, and MANY, MANY CHILDREN, are going to be joining the Arcane Community.
Let that, heh, sink in for a moment.
That is all
I don’t have anything else to say, I forgot my main point halfway through
