So to my way of looking at “The gallon value list” (I am also a former analysist on the server)
I would just like to point out that i just like it as a frame of refrence, due i use it now to know an item’s value, not at all, i use my own logic based on what people are offering and looking for in trading places, to readjust the gallon value. I would rather have a list with items of what items have been worth and such, so for that reason alone i like the list, also like a lot of other people mention, any active trader most likely won’t use the gallon value list for much, other then telling the other party why you won’t accept their trade, its a way to establish a reason for trades to be bad. They get to learn, you get to move on, and a lot of people i tell that also immedietly refuse the credability of it, but that’s fine, since you were just using it for explanition and reasioning, not proof/claim

The galleon list is definitely helpful but I think some of the analysts just use this as a way to increase their own wealth and switch the values according to what benefits them, like the way they keep increasing the value of seasonals dramatically. Whenever I talk about any trade I did in that server, they’re so negative and judgmental about this and that with their points being absolutely stupid so I stopped sending messages there. Bunch of assholes. Galleon list is still helpful though for most things and I appreciate the hard work that goes into it.
