to be fair full release will be a mix of everything but the 2 story updates
can’t really blame him honestly. he’s the sole developer working on the game and not to mention, he has a life too.
if he spent all his time working on arcane odyssey where you can embark on an epic journey through the War Seas, he won’t have time looking for a girlfriend on tinder

i don’t care how long this game takes it’s still beautiful right now and (hopefully) always will be. 100% has flaws but i’m hoping the majority will be fixed. if not, oh well, still better than blox fruits

I know Vetex still does most of the work but he’s got a team of people now helping him with the development of the game. main developer? yes. only developer? no.
don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying this in bad faith to say development isn’t going fast enough. it’s just a bit unfair to say he’s the only developer when other people have contributed (and still are doing so) quite a bit to the game

it probably got pushed to Full Release because the level cap’s raising to like, 175 or something if i remember right

yeah the “solo dev” argument doesn’t work so much anymore (though saying he works on most of it himself is still valid) rough estimates but i’d say he still does like 50-75% of the work himself while the rest of the work (mostly modeling/island building) is spread around pretty evenly
literally my only gripe is i wish he wouldn’t promise timespans, or at least said the estimated timespan is rough and very loose because that’s how it’s been

I remember seeing vetex talking about how his life revolves around developing arcane odyssey and going to the gym everyday, I don’t think he has a life outside of that.
that is the least important thing to spend time on when it comes to “having a life”
judging something’s quality by comparing it to garbage is not an effective way of doing so
i was mostly joking ik blox fruits is garbage
but i would say AO has more effort and, more importantly, love put into it than most other big roblox games
not to say that it’s overall content is a 10/10 cause it does have some real jaggedy flaws, but it’s pretty good
effort and love does not correlates with competence and/or greatness.

jokes aside: to be fair, full release will go up to level 175 and add miscellaneous things like a skill tree, wilderness music, and new sailing music for nimbus (please make it sky theme like aa)
10/10 meaning “flawless” is not a subjective matter, what would be however is how relevant this is to the topic, something that I don’t think it is.
For the purposes of the road map, Mistral and Empires can be considered one update
