Things about lategame mages

So…

With the addition of more levels, undoubtably we will at one point get lost and ancient magics.

What should they look like? Just regular magic, but highly overpowered? Maybe you can switch mutations or something like that, maybe only used for giant devastating blows, as it should in theory take way more energy to cast than regular magic, right? What’s your thoughts?

all of the ancients have a teal and black color scheme, vetex told me

Essentially, they’re basically supposed to just act as replacements to base magics, for a natural and earned progression of power, and to add any ideas that didn’t make the cut for existing ones.
Unless Vetex completely changed his mind.

scorch and inferno:

Inferno is actually blue tho

Also scorch is getting a recolor to solid black to kill off any darkflame copoids

fuck naw man
give it black accents though.

Teal and Blue are not the same color, hyper.

Counterpoint, I’m colorblind

Counterpoint, with the ratio of blue-to-green that Chaos has, Vetex’s teal is usually very blue.

We'll see about that.

some magics will have unique properties like phoenix with healing

lost and ancients just generally look way cooler too

There are three known magics that do that, it’s not way too unique.

which ones

Phoenix (which is more so fire and wind), Healing, and Life.

healing and life are fake

Nah, the based Life Mage…

I am offended by this blatant slander!
Healing is just as real as that shadowy man in the sea over there, y’hear?
