Vetex’s update schedule is once around like 1-3 months

Arcane Odyssey having little content results in a drastic rise of PVPers playing the game.

I won’t tell you why just yet. Meditate on it for 30 seconds and come back.

Your ass did not LMAO. Anyway, the reason for this is because the lack of constant updates makes it so the only thing you can do to play the game is to PVP.

I don’t understand why people get this. The content in AO updates suck so… eventually everyones gonna have what they want. And then the game becomes boring. People play games for fun. Thus, you either leave the game or decide to find something else in the game which is fun. And that fun for many people tends to be PVP.

So I don’t really know why vetex is so pissed. The lack of updates and content is the real problem. Whatever it takes to get more updates/content should be done IMO. Whether thats getting more devs (muh creative vision!) or having to open a portal so Cthulhu’s tentacles can slide easier on the vetexkeyboard

Also when Vetex said toxic PvPers I feel confused. Are these the people who complain about the game’s lack of updates or wtver? Ppl who randomly gank others? Because that’s not a problem at all lol. People will say getting rk’d ruins their experience but… its just a game… (I say this unironically btw)…

AND BEFORE SOMEONE USES THE ARGUMENTS:

“It’s not fun to lose”
A: everything has a cost to it even in real life or in a game

“You’re a dick for killing ppl doing cargo, low levels, or people delivering chests!”
A: Tough luck you took the risk, if you died in the dark sea your ass would not be complaining cause it’s beautiful PvE as made by lord vetex’s everloving PvE glory

I mean, the game is literally about pirates with magic. What the fuck do you expect? Love and sunshine? GET PREPARED TO RUN THE ONES! GET JUMP ODYSSEY’D EVEN!

You can PvP in AO without being an asshole about it.

Jesus christ. Someone has to do an analytic breakdown on vetexs rant like a English teacher. Vetex isn’t even talking about people who gank or bounty hunt

The problem is not the pvpers, there were some guys that were NOT patereon saying:
“I literally pay vetex builds he has to do what I want!!”
we all know he lives of the patreon + the donations, most ao players don’t spend a penny in the game, not even if it would make their gameplay 300% more cool, not even for getting the so called customization they desire or for good get a better pvp tool (loadouts)

Why do you have to be so harsh about this? Pardon me if you dont mean it, but the connotation of your argument comes off as really brash yknow?

The only thing that does confuse me, not anger, is your second question- I mean NO OFFENSE and no harm with my statement but- Why would you end low levels, cargo-doers, or people grinding for better gear in the first place?

And people still find the content, dry as you may believe it is, fun. While it might be alien to you, it’s not exactly fair to leave them out.

When he says “toxic PvPers”, he means the people who tend to do dumb crap like harass the hell out of people who they find, ganking is probably a notable example.

It’s a problem because a good chunk of those people who are killed weren’t even looking forward to deal with that, and probably faced a setback because of it. Sure, “it’s just a game.” But much like you, people play games to have fun.

People’s fun is being taken away for the sake of others’ enjoyment, that itself is the dang problem. Fricking respect one’s choice and be prepared for them to be upset at you if you choose otherwise.
