the tie originated from the french copying the croatian mercenaries (also where the word “cravat” came from, because thats how they butchered the “croatian” word), who wore “tie” (or more correctly neckcloth) both for protection and also to denote rank cuz the officer wore tie/neckcloth of different material than the rank-and-file men, and basically the king liked it so much he adopted it, and because hes the king everyone wants to dress like him, it eventually became a trend both because of that but also because since “its so useless and complicated that naturally if you have the time and effort and money to buy and wear one you must be rich/is someone of great standing” cuz back then tie was much more complicated than the one we have now since they have to do it manually, iirc most of them have servants do it for them like how some nobles had their servants buttoned their shirt

burns hurts more than cuts and bruises because burn causes damage in “zones”, meaning the severity varied from the local source, meaning the pain is longer lasting due to how pain work, as opposed to cuts and bruises, which only hurt in the focal point. in burns, cells break down overtime after the initial burn, so the pain lasts longer as the pain receptors are repeatedly triggered, unlike cuts and bruises that are once and done. also, fun fact, if your burn doesnt hurt, its probably because that area specifically got fucked so bad there arent any pain receptor left to even feel the pain
