I think it’s mostly due to most roblox game are just a copy of the one from steam, because they try to replicate that experience but not that enough to satisfy them
No!
Hmm. Consider scrolling down the list and having a look yourself. I beg to differ.
A lot of older peeps can’t seem to respect their younger counterparts. You were a kid once, after all.
Adopt Me defines Roblox because of what Roblox was meant to be. A warm community where people can chill out and meet new people.
Certainly not the toxicity of kill counts and scores. They aren’t necessarily bad, it’s just that perhaps Roblox shouldn’t make those kinds of things the sole focus, like what you seem to be implying.
Indeed lazy devs. The simulator games tick me off so much.
I admit that they are efficient, considering they capitalise on the basic human aspect of “my boat is bigger than yours”.
but why not
also the presence of children on the platform doesn’t mean there should be a complete absence of any teen-adult content
This won’t solve the problem, only create complications, especially for kids.
There already is a limited amount of email verification for more social features I think, but honestly someone could just a throwaway email.
I respect older content, but we should be at least protecting the youngers from the more serious side of things. I’ve seen Roblox games with blood and jumpscares and realistic looking death and haven’t seen them get flagged down at all.
email verification would force children to give their real age, and allow for safe segregation of content
No respect for privacy?
hmmm
COPPA. Roblox would suddenly have to adhere to all sorts of other legal restrictions to safeguard this information.
The entire playerbase is just little kids, along with the fact that braindead youtubers manage to reel in millions of views just from roleplaying in this game
hmmmm
boundless, deepwoken, rogue, WoM, vesteria etc.
Entry Point, Hexaria, WoM, The Future, etc.
rise of the dead
Yeah, I kinda agree with that. Maybe the category thing isn’t the best, but maybe at least sort games by age on the front page, as in what is most popular for what ages. That way kids get their child friendly simulators and older audiences can actually see some of the great games on Roblox. Maybe it could be an optional thing to toggle on setup or in settings, that way it’s not only easy for kids to join but also teens. If anyone puts in a wrong age though that’s on them, kid’s parents should be monitoring account setup.
Bro… but BRO
THEY ADDED THE
WE HAVE TO PLAY NOW
OMG IS THTT A GULDE TURD!?!!1
OMG I NED TO PLA RNN!1!1!
adopt me players in a nutshell
Perfect solution, if people lie about their age then its their own fault they’re being shown games meant for older audiences.
usually when someone is already starting to lie about their age online they don’t want to play some kiddie games
It’s honestly a shame certain quality games on Roblox look worse than your average simulator. I’m down for some sort of age ranting system for Roblox since it allows for tons of possibilities. Although I think Roblox devs in my opinion should work on making their own original games instead of making Roblox versions of preexisting games.
Don’t get me wrong though I like games like fnaf remakes on roblox since I’m too poor to get the original game.
Same reason why youtubers or streamers often play the same few games, mone.
i mean
world of magic is kinda based off fairy tail
but theres enough originality for it to be good
I believe wom took inspiration and added its own concepts to be original. While other games would pretty much copy any prexisting game and even take models or other stuff from there
Hmm. Let’s see.
