Unfortunately the fact is that the majority of roblox players are young kids whose standards are very low. Devs see the opportunity to milk robux out of them and voila you have every popular simulator game ever.
(There are a few exceptions though. Bee Swarm Sim is still grindy but at least it’s not braindead and poorly made)

i disagree i played it with friends just to mess around but it turned out pretty fun lol, it has alot of features so even if you dont wanna roleplay theres still stuff to do and exploration.
If you have a lot of time to kill bee swarm is actually kinda fun!
The game is pretty boring at first but it quickly becomes a lot more complicated and satisfying

ah yes I sure do enjoy walking down a cartoony af road at like 0.1 walkspeed not to mention said road lookin plain as shit and if it wasn’t for the random houses or trees it would’ve looked like the whole place turned into a super flat minecraft world
I mean bee swarm is fun for some and not at all for others. It has some nice features and mechanics but from my experience it really is grindy and at times feels repetitive. Your choice though, just be aware it can take quite a lot of time to get to some of the better features.

it doesn’t look generic. i’m just stating the facts here its not a bad game itself. the game is colorful for it to be enjoyed by a younger audience. the game’s main mechanic is roleplay which is again more enjoyed by a younger audience. there aren’t any really obnoxious tasks and its not like you had to do them.

this game is made by the guys who made treelands, an actually good game with tons of potential. apparently someone on the dev team of TL died for no apparent reason so TL is dead unless someone asks fissy for the source code or some shit

you’re forgetting about that game literally being a simulator in disguise, doing the same repetitive thing to gain some random ass pets,
not to mention there not really being much room for uh cough creativity and imagination, since everything is locked in 1 specific setup, which can hardly be manipulated by players to suit their needs,
I highly doubt even 50% of the people playing adopt me, play it to actually roleplay.
sure whatever is in the game right now works almost flawlessly, but I suppose if anyone really wanted to they could replicate adopt me within a week or 2, if you don’t include the textures and modeling for pets

The Roblox censorship system is broken as hell let’s be honest. Kids can easily lie about their age but it is most likely the parent’s fault in that regard. You can easily bypass a lot of numbers and it censors a lot of useless shit like the words “ok” and “if” if they are used too much.
The main problem with Adopt me to me at least is that it breaks Roblox servers yet Roblox is still TOO DAMN DENSE TO UPGRADE THEIR SHITTY FUCKING SERVERS. If Roblox games are getting so damn popular they start to break the servers shouldn’t something be done about it? Such as you know? Upgrading the servers? But you know what? No let’s stick to a 32 Bit client and absolute shitfuck of servers that give me an average of 250-300 ping. And let’s not optimize Roblox because why would we? Getting stuck with 60 FPS is fucking annoying and I am fairly certain FPS unlockers risk your account getting banned so I’m not dealing with that shit. If you have a reason as to why Roblox can’t upgrade please tell me I still don’t know why they can’t.
Other problem with Adopt me is most likely moderation as well considering how many scams I see based only around Adopt me. This is also Roblox’s fault.
