Add joining small servers to that list.
I feel like some points here arent that valid. Im not gonna aruge for PvE servers or toggling PvP thats just stupid and not gonna happen. But i also feel like pushing all the blame on just the player and not the game not preparing the player for it is kinda bad and will make people go into a defensive mode.

Renown is more tied to PvP yes but PvE wise its an immersion tool to Roleplay as ur charcter better, yes increasing it doesnt do anything but it also does happen automaticly. Always needing to run to the Marines or Assasins is annoying just to not get sweated on by people (A way to make it less bad is to have a cap of renown for PvE)

Not everyone has clan mates or a clan active in their server. Relying on a clan for avoid PvP is not a vaiable option for most people. (Also socialising with other people isnt everyones strong suit some just want to play a game alone)

There are little to no ways to activly go into PvP. You need to have the optimized equipment and someone that even is wanting to duel. (This is exacly why we need elyisum to be a PvP hub so people can acctuelly train.)

Some People have a severe case of bad internet and going on an asian server is just not a good option to play AO. (Also would make it even worse when u get attacked on that server)

This is already a thing with GN players and good rep players so i dont see why this is much of a problem. The only bad side is players being able to mess with you, like being on your boat or smth and you canât get them off but thatâs really it.
Honestly if youâre against this change just be a bad rep, simple.

Ikr the whole point of going bad rep back in WoM was that you were allowed to attack literally anyone you wanted. Itâs part of the reason I donât bother doing bad rep in AO so far since you can attack almost anyone as a good rep.

Immersion should be a base of the game not a choice after all i feel like immersion is what AO is very good at as a PvE game. Really i would just love a cap for it for PvE as it keeps the immersion but makes u less of a target.

That topic was pretty good and i see that its just a problem now but many dont see that and wont read that long text likely. Maybe it always needs to be said under threads like these to hammer it home. But also it doesnt sadly solve the issue of current PvP tho we have a bright future to look to.

With the getting attacked at bad ping i meant getting attacked by a player with normal ping so u playing on an asian server and getting atttacked by someone in asia. I should have made that clearer sorry.
