since magic is supposed to be chaos and destructive
and spirit energy is supposed to be creation and stuff
does that mean that when you clash spirit energy and magic it would just annihilate both?

also that would mean that gods are basically the living equivalent of equinox magic, with the exact right amounts of both spirit energy and magic energy, like how equinox is the exact right amount of light magic and dark magic to make a somewhat stable attack which doesn’t just obliterate you as soon as you cast any spell.

Is greek pantheon still the only canon one?

Would be cool to see spirit weapons related to other pantheons, maybe even godless faiths, as if they were blessed by creation itself (if I understood correctly it’s a sentient entity like chaos, no?)

pretty sure that’s still the case
but since the keraxe kingdom is obsessed with naming things after norse mythology, I do think there’s a pretty decent chance that there could be spirit weapons designed to fit norse mythology

Spirit Weapons are made by the Greek Gods, so its likely there isnt one based off of Norse Myth

Wait, it just occurred to me.

Since we see there’s also some inspiration from the Arthurian Legend in AO (based off the Dark Sea ghost dialogue), and that Arthur the Cursebeard was likely inspired from King Arthur, what if Excalibur exists and is a Spirit Weapon from Poseidon?

For those who dont know the legend, the “Sword in Stone” was actually “Caliburn”.

In the legend, King Arthur breaks this sword and later recieves “Excalibur” from the “Lady of the Lake” sometime afterwards. You could technically fit this with AO’s lore, right?

I think this can be implemented, but the lake island should have random spawning for obtaining the sword to actually be hard

Im not talking about the way of obtaining it, Im mostly talking about the lore and how maybe MC gets it through story like PK gets Theos’ gautnlet and later his staff. Since we havent seen Spirit Weapons yet, Im speculating that Excalibur might be one.

Obtained through the story? Hmm, then it would purely be a story item like order mantle we got after murdering initiates at skycliff. It CAN be spirit weapon in the same time, but we wouldn’t use it

Do you realise what stupid thing did you just say? First awakening will cut vitalityless routes from using spirit weapons, just like three other routes are forgotten after this. Vitality isn’t blocked by awakening FOR NOW, bc its only function rn is giving extra hp
