i was checking the wiki and it’s listing inferno as a lost magic now. i know it’s usable by dragons, but does this really mean it’s lost? it just seems kinda underwhelming for a grand fire magic to not be ancient

According to my fellow testers, Inferno has ALWAYS been a lost magic. People just spread misinformation.

Actually… wasn’t there something about Aetherial Flame being the weakest grand fire? That would probably imply that it’s also a lost magic (also, all the other “Aetherial” magics are lost anyways).
all the grand fires are probably lost tier— Scorch might be the only exception (it’s was also listed as an ancient on the trello some time ago i think.).
If inferno is a lost then scorch probably also is. I do swear they were all listed as ancients though, considering their curses are the best ones out there (assuming that’s not vetconned).

Scorch was directly listed as an Ancient though (from my memory, Inferno and the rest were bloated up to match it)…
It is important to note that created magics don’t get curses— meaning that the grand fires are probably the best via the fact that there isn’t that many curse types.
i think it being lost is fine
its straight up just fire but hotter (and blue) how the hell is that even deserving of ancient
atleast scorch.. explodes.. idk how that works but it has a gimmick atleast
because it’s super duper hot, highest temperature you could imagine

I’m actually kinda glad they’re lost cause that makes more space for actually interesting ancients now. They never really did fit being ancients at all.
Scorch explodes so hard it uses spirit or something. 10/10, ancient tier.
i think most of the inferno grand fire curse power comes from the fact that its a curse
when they come as magic itself they lost the extra power that every curse has
like think of fire curse and rupin being a huge menace powerhouse with it
nuh uh, i swear on my honor that shit was listed as ancient/primordial back in wom times
same, im hoping ancients to be some actual crazy stuff since they’re supposed to come with crazy gimmicks (like death insta killing anything even slightly weaker than the user + directly harming spirit energy)
The list was changed, but as of now (and by now, i mean last edited 2021) only Scorch and Electron are listed.
Inferno burnt all its fuel and got demoted or something… actually— when you think about it now… most our Ancients require being a legacy (Life, Death, Potentially Scorch if ancient), only exception might be electron, which is interesting.
yea and wotan with wood, i know base magic curses can be powerful, but inferno is a grand fire curse, created by prometheus specifically to kill one single guy, it should have a power boost by default at least
