Why does the warriors aura look so damn ugly (and inconsistent in colour) while the knight aura just look sick af?
warrior aura color is the same color as your weapon
paladin aura color is a mix of your spirit energy and your magic
warrior aura can look better than anything if used with the right weapons (try kai sabre or vindicator)
kai saber pretty cool but vindicator is pretty mid… tho i thinnk it woud’ve been 10 times better if the effects of warrior aura were like in sekiro

Sekiro doesn’t have a “warrior’s aura” equivalent or anything like that, and weapon vfx in AO are just weapon vfx
im talking about style, visuals and effects, not an “equivalent”, and spirit imbuement are pretty much just as cool as the sekiro effect (for roblox standart)

Would essentially turn into too many vfx on the screen at once, every time you use a skill you’d just make more particles/vfx you have to look through and try to figure out what’s going on compared to what we have now which works fine
I’m gonna sound contrarian as hell and thats cause it is but I really don’t think vfx should be so overdone like that in the first place, I love how spirit energy looks and all that but that’s because it looks nice and isn’t super intrusive, if you were to put the Mortal Blade vfx into AO it’d just look so cluttered with what’s going on already (Not to mention I think Mortal Blade’s vfx is infact good but translating that to a roblox game it’d be way too much to the point of just looking like vfx slop)

Also it may be because of the image I choose but it’s not the red one, it’s the black one from ishin, and I didn’t say that it should be exactly like that, just that a lot of the time warrior aura is kinda boring in terms of visual
Weapon aura specifically could use a little more.
Right now it adds like 1 or 2 extra bits onto the attacks and colors them to the weapon’s aura color.
This is cool but I do hope it gets a bit more going for it with time because visually it does not hold up to magic/vitality at all.
It would be cool if you could custom how it look and maybe also what stats are affected by it, would add more variety.
You can do something similar to the mortal blade but just adding a trail effect but bigger
I disagree, this isn’t a matter of optimization it’s a matter of visual clutter. There’s already a lot of effects going on the screen at once, giving something like sword draw: flash step a massive line that follows it alongside the actual AoE of the skill would honestly look bad and be worse for gameplay.
I think warrior’s aura should get more, but I genuinely just think giving it something akin to Mortal Blade vfx would be overkill/have a negative effect, improve it’s visuals but don’t turn it into vfx slop
