Though the official language of the Ravenna realm is Latin, because Romans. Different kingdoms speak other languages, too. Greek is just the most widespread tongue—kinda like English today.

My headcanon is that morden made up his name on the spot after the mc woke up, his name is so unconventional and unrelated to other cultures in game, I think he just went
“Man I wish my name was death or something cool like that”
mc wakes up “who are you?”
“Oh shi-
Uhhhhhh morden”
if the mc is british he wakes up and goes “oiii bruv, my head bloody hurts…”
then he goes up to morden who says “επιτέλους ξύπνησες, νόμιζα ότι θα κοιμηθείς μερικές μέρες ακόμα”
then the mc goes “bloody hell? what are you saying mate?”
then morden goes “τι λες”
and mc goes “bruv i’m done” and walks away
and morden goes “πάρτε μαζί σας αυτή τη βάρκα” and gives the player a rowboat and dagger

I wish my autism was more attached to these characters so I could make headcannons 
i just wish i remembered more about the characters but its been long enough since any story continuation that i just. forgot.
like the only headcanon i had was that evander was one-armed cause i thought the mountainbreaker armor’s left arm was torn apart but then i looked at it again and saw the very-much still-attached hand
Iris only likes really overcooked food
Neviro only likes really undercooked food
Morden doesn’t really care about food since he doesn’t really have much of a sense of taste
MC will eat literally anything (hmm yes a rock and some ice will make an amazing drink)

speaking of, why does morden need to eat if he has the death curse?
I don’t think he actually does, since he went ages without food when he was unconscious. He probably still can feel hunger if he is actually thinking about food, similarly to how certain small cuts only hurt if you are thinking about them.

Yeah he probably doesn’t eat when alone but if everyone else is eating something he would want to join in

Also this is probably why Morden has to get his own food, like when he is the one to catch fish when we are travelling to the nimbus sea.
Nobody else wants to give him food since they have a limited supply and he doesn’t actually need any
“i should probably try and fish on the way there” as opposed to “yall got any cows i can eat”
