if range still increases the speed of your attacks why does it need to be renamed?

Because vetex needed to do something with the agility stat and accuracy turned out to not be the way (surprising nobody)

I’m genuinely glad accuracy got axed, but i kinda prefer that it/agility get removed completely instead of being replaced

I’m afraid casting speed is going to end up requiring too much investment to make useful while also being somewhat centralizing, due to having Attack Speed’s issue of reducing startup and endlag, which I find pretty significant in a game where you’re constantly stuck for using moves and makes balancing more difficult

Range/projectile speed is fine though. It might be difficult to make useful on stuff that doesn’t have projectile speed like AoEs but other than that.

When you consider this game has plenty of balancing problems that could’ve been addressed if it weren’t for rushed testing and shortsighted planning, I think it becomes normal to be concerned about upcoming changes being unbalanced

I mean, casting speed still reduces endlag and most of those builds ran at least some agility (which is now range which impacts projectile speed)

Not really, you could probably just slap on an agility amulet and call it a day depending on your build

agility amulet eats 135 of your ep, when it could be 45 power or 400 defense

Then just get better to make up for the lack of stats
