Well okay then

Not at all. I really think the effects of each of these two stats will be stronger in comparison to the old attack speed, since you’re not splitting it to two things. I can gladly sacrifice any and all casting speed and replace every point of it with power, defense and size, while all my attack speed converts into range that boosts me higher in this particular area than it did prior to the change

i want my attacks to go fast. from what i can see, i wont be able to make my attacks go fast (without enchants or imbuements)

You missed that line of text. Range still increases the speed of the attack itself. Also, wdym “without enchants or imbuements“? What else could it be - a mode spell or something?

huh

ok we are so back (why is it called range though)

mb gng im a weapons user i forget that some people use magic and fstyles. i meant weapon enchants fr

strength when

i planned a full release build for warden, doing the math in full release it would be a 50% atk speed build, well turns out it got nerfed even before it was able to exist :sob:, intensity also got indirectly nerfed

Attack Speed

  • Only covers 1-2 things that the stat does (projectile speed, dash speed)
  • Misses 100 things you would expect from a stat named “attack speed”

Range

  • Covers everything the stat does
  • Half-covers the increase in projectile or dash speed due to them being directly related factors

Pretty sure the swift enchant (and ardent) you apply to weapons will give you range and speed of the attack, just like it did. Maybe the what was nimble and agile will be weapon-compatible now, to boost skill use time

id totally win

@Meta can we nerf casting speed 52 times before full release

wait you’re telling me that attack speed doesn’t affect everything
