Imagine if Vetex implemented a spin system for Arcane Odyssey, and when people start to call him out on the forums, he just shuts the website down.

What in the actual fuck are you going on about you do realize that there are codes in the game and you can easily get 200 spins you don’t need to spend ANY money on the game and no it’s not some kind of fuckin complicated scam aimed at children you sound like some paranoid junkie
the spin system is a system whose success relies on sunk-cost fallacy, something which uninformed children are especially vulnerable to. in principle it works like gambling.
don’t know if you read my shit but I played these dudes games since NSOA. yes i fucking know there are codes in the game.
I assume you specifically wrote “200” because the rarest bloodline in the game has an appearance rate of 1/200. ok, and? doesn’t mean you’re always going to get it in 200. do realize that something having a 1/200 appearance rate means that every single time you spin, there is a 199/200 chance that that specific kekkei genkai will not appear. the 1/200 chance refers to each individual roll, not the entire game experience.
also consider that even upon rolling one of the rare bloodlines, you still need to level it up. and I believe that you need to pay to get more than 2 bloodlines (fact check me on this, i’m tired of checking on the wiki).
i actually bothered looking at my comment to see if I uttered the word “scam” once in that entire body of text. no, apparently I did not. just because I said “exploitative” doesn’t mean I said it was a scam. it being a scam would mean it violates the rules of fair play in some way. it doesn’t in the same way that selling crack to those who you are aware lack the mental capacity to offer much resistance doesn’t either.
I hope and pray to god that I don’t need to explain to you what “exploitative” means because I swear.
having an alternative to the system already existing is important for the mechanism to continue, especially if it’s a game (so the reward you get for “winning” isn’t money). having codes ensures that those who cannot pay will stick around until they are able to pay in the future.

what the fuck is the point you’re even trying to make here? and? did I say you did?
i was going to make this a full on essay on how this shit is basically a perfect virtual gambling system, but i don’t think i need to. don’t even know why i even bothered giving an actual response. you just seem to be malding because i dared insult your favorite game how dare I rrrr
osu!mania, jtoh, rotmg, …
having the ao trello tab open 24/7
I like how one of your arguments was ItS CaUsE iT’s YoUR FaVORIte gaMe I feel like this is self explanatory but it’s obviously not since ya know I’m on this forum almost everyday since I came also I don’t play sl2 like at all anymore tbh I liked the game tho might start playing it again the fact that you seriously think it’s some kind of…virtual gambling system though I’m sorry but that had me dyin it really feels like your joking here.
irony here is that:
I added a divider there as if to say “look! this part isn’t a part of the main arguments” and your dumb ass still hounds on that one thing. why aren’t you saying shit else? at least try to hide it my guy
i literally used “rrrrr ” come on man
ok bro, you sure you aren’t talking to me because you can’t say shit? imagine calling me delusional and intentionally ignoring all the actual arguments so that you can hound on one part of my whole thing to get an excuse to opt out of an argument you started. if you’re done, just say the fuck so. god damn.
I don’t really have the time or the patience to point out all the flaws in your argument I could literally do anything else like enjoy my life. Stop pinging/replying to me lol our view points won’t change and neither will my opinion of you again good day.
LMAO
Translation:
I can’t say shit so imma just say that flaws exist but I can’t be bothered to point them out so I can leave with my ego in tact. Apparently this is supposed to be believable.
In actuality, I just look like a wuss, since I was interested enough in the conversation to make a comment earlier but magically lost motivation the minute the person actually brings out their points. I could just say “I’ll read it later” or “I’ll respond to it when I have the time” but no. No, this isn’t supposed to make me look like a complete clown.
ok bozo, whatever you say
bye bye

Nearly everything can have a sunk cost fallacy, can’t really claim that it’s gambling because people believe in a sunk cost fallacy.
But you can say they believe in the gambler’s fallacy…(Much easier to understand too)
i didn’t merely say it had it but that it success relies on it. I should’ve also said that spin systems are designed to exploit this particular fallacious way of thinking by human beings.
i didn’t know the name for the gambler’s fallacy until you just told me (so thx), but I talked about something similar in the post when i said something along the lines of “it doesn’t follow that because you have a 1/200 chance of getting a rare bloodline, you have a high chance of getting it after 200 tries”.
actually you’re right, should probably rephrase the entire thing I wrote to make it more cohesive and digestible, but the person I was talking to opted out so I don’t think I need to
another argument i see
anyway i usually lurk on roblox or randomly come across interesting games outside of roblox that caught my eye and proceeds to quit 2 days later

playing world of magic
I’m mainly playing games that aren’t on Roblox, since it is pretty stale as of right now.
