For me, the Arc of a Scythe and Steelheart series were my favorite.
The two genres I really like are Sci-Fi and Fantasy.
From Sci-Fi there are really great series such as Red Rising- which is one of my favourite series of all time. I can yap about this for hours. Another Sci-Fi series I remember liking is the Illuminae Files; read this a while ago but I remember really liking it. Knife of Never Letting Go is sci-fi adjacent so I’m counting it here. Ready Player 1 was a better book than a movie imo.
For fantasy, I really liked Elantris (Brandon Sanderson); A Song of Ice and Fire; Vicious; Northern Lights; Percy Jackson ofc; Skullduggery Pleasant (was goated but it got too long); The Giver (ik this is not really fantasy); An Ember in the Ashes was my favourite series for a while; Harry Potter is also goated; Summoner was also amazing- remember loving it; Assassin’s Apprentice was goated (this list is starting to get long); Six of Crows and really the entire world of Shadow and Bone is good; A throne of Swans was also nice. I’m gonna stop talking at fantasy otherwise imma be here for a while.
Murder mysteries are enjoyable, One of us is Lying was really fun to read- so was S.T.A.G.S.
Since I’m here I’m also gonna include light novels mainly because I love Omniscient Readers Viewpoint; my fav LN so far. Lord of The Mysteries and Shadow Slave are also up there.
I could add more books but I feel like I’d be here for a while if I did.

My younger brother is also into the series
and both my middle school and high school had some of the books
when it was my favourite series before warriors overtook, it was the first thing i looked for in my school library
the f*cks didnt have it but idm
ive not actually been back to the library since but i dont really want to for reasons
The red rising series is hands down the best book series I have ever read and I don’t know if I will ever be able to top it. I heavily recommend it to anyone who hasn’t read it already.

I like the Inheritance Cycle, especially Murtagh. I really really like The Wheel of Time. I like Dune although I’ve only read the first book fully. I like Mordew and Malarkoi even if I only understood every tenth word (probably should reread them at some point). I like a bunch of others but those are my big fiction choices I guess.
