uh anyways i think it’s not a legacy of any kind, nor is it an animal.
i could see it being something like a curse user that forcefully evolved themselves and garnered power through war, and thus was sealed (before the fracture) to prevent any further loss of life by their hands. maybe it became a living vessel for chaos as well, slowly growing its power over the centuries of its imprisonment and waiting for the day when they’d be able to truly become something divine (or their fucked up perspective of divine, mainly by surpassing the gods in power after slaughtering everyone within the war seas).
i dunno. we have basically nothing on it.

I agree, but I’d love to hear your theories as to what possessed new Torren and why, because I have a hypothesis (calling it that since there’s no factual backing) but can’t explain it
my bet is lowk on a titan, but its not typhon. vetex has given the name typhon to the dragon king last i read/heard (not apophis, refer to thandor lore bit)

I had a document where I tried to predict AO’s future storyline and ended up with the idea that Torren is possessed by an unknown figure that helped Prometheus to steal Hecate’s domain. There are two reasons why I think so:
- Torren cannot be The Abberation at his current age as it must be really… really old
- Torren was greatly buffed which instantly moved him from being the 7th strongest entity alive to 3rd (unknowns list).
So let’s be real, there’s no curse or power that could make him so strong nor old, which technically means it’s not him. But well… uh, the problem is that there’s no other option, because the first and second riddles are in fact interconnected and we know that the second riddle litteraly depicts events of AO which means the first riddle must be canon too. While the first riddle ends with Torren coming back.
