They are two completely different games. Deepwoken is a more hardcore, reaction based combat game that relies on mixups and primarily pvp.

Whilst AO is a sea oriented game like sea of thieves with a combat system that I can’t really think of a name off the top of my head.

Overall deepwoken wouldn’t really have too much of an impact on AO due to the vastly different gameplay mechanics.

i still cant believe this guy was a beta for player for aa and cant see how aa being basically remade is a good thing

but apart from him, i dont think deepwoken will have much of an impact on ao

at most, itll just be idiots who think its just wom or a deepwoken copy and refuse to play it, not many players lost

at this point I don’t see how they wouldn’t be.
every corner of deepwoken has been explored 20 times over by now.

all that’s left are crazy builds that the developers clearly (hopefully) didn’t even intend to have in the game.
