songs
(but that’s mostly because my parents really like listening to songs that just reuse the same part like 15 times and it got boring after listening to it once but they listened to it on repeat and you could never tell when it stopped and started)
I still don’t really like listening to songs which are pretty repetitive but it’s a bit better
Faith is faith, respect other people’s faiths, and remember: regardless of who we are, lemon desserts are so good… Like, I am obsessed with lemon cake.
This is a recent weird thing to hate, but I don’t like how my full name sounds. My middle name’s a basic douche like me, but my first name is a slight tragedeigh and my last name is a French name without a certain letter on the end for some reason.
My last name also never gets pronounced correctly. I have two older siblings who graduated from the same school district I go to, and my name still gets bastardized.
Gotta flex my hyperfixation of religious history real quick:
Satanism can be split into two major types. Theistic, the belief that since satan punishes the evil doers, he is good.
The second is atheistic, which follows the IDEALS without being the religion itself.
Both follow this idea of the self and loving the self and ego without being harmful to others.
During the 1980-1990s “satanic panic,” the idea of the violent, sacrificial cults came from the people who claimed, simply due to insanity that “the devil made me do it.”
This basic idea then altered the modern idea of satan instead of a fallen angel who should be pitied into a being of evil and murder.
The cannibalistic cults who killed, there are at most instances of groups that play it as pretend, like LARPing, or roleplay. It’s just a hobby, it’s not actual belief.
“satanic cults” didn’t exist before the 20th century, which the Christian Church always claimed was real. There’s no historical backing, or evidence to suggest as such, though.
Basically, the beef against satanism exists from paranoia and propaganda to “turn to christ” if you look at the history and look at the genuine things being said.
anyways I really REALLY hate people who betray, i’ll never forgive them. Hell I’d even have to be hesitant to give to someone in need after how much I’ve been betrayed
Not related to the topic but one of my favorite indie bands made a cover of “girls just want to have fun” by happenstance (needed a demo or something and people ended up liking it) and at some fundraiser (for cancer i think?) they performed it with the original artist
