What is it with people who use the epicentre explorer title and being the most unfun people to interact with?
I’ve never seen someone with the title even make an attempt to join in with the roleplay I was setting up. And then they’ll attack you.
Does it have something to do with sunk cost thingamadoodle?
Does the funny purple name just revoke your concept of ‘games are supposed to be fun’?
epicenter explorer is practically a commodity that rich people buy and those rich people are usually tryhards
or in my case i got epicenter explorer legit and only like the sweatiest of tryhards would bother doing something like that for ao
Whenever I (as a 400k bounty 65k infamy player) join a server, the order at which I check the players is always:
0. Leaderboard players (immediately leaving upon seeing)
In 90% of the cases, epicenter explorer players are either:
Or multiple at once, enough of a sign I need to leave immediately
People act like this title is such a big deal to get when you only need 3 friends to pull it off fairly easily.
7 if you want it done really fast.
Each player goes in a cardinal direction into the 4th range, half directions aswell with 8, and all turn left when they’re all in the correct depth.
Whichever player finds it, you now have the exact direction they went to do so.
I do agree that alot of Epicenter Explorers are dicks. Of those I encountered when I had a sizeable bounty (300k), around half of them tried to gank me for nothing more than the bounty.
However, purple is a cool color. That’s why they use it.
Exactly, that’s the hard part. Many AO players don’t have 3 friends.
Hey, true captain players aren’t that bad. They’re fairly common (given the ease of access) and usually don’t have inflated egos as much as Epicenter Explorers.
They are still sweatier than your common player
Most players with titles are sweatier than your common player. Dark Sea titles just so happen to be more common and sweatier than other titles.
i don’t mean to sound rude but i believe it is kind of foolish to assume every other epicenter explorer is an asshole just because you met someone from frown town

I don’t assume, I check their stats, see 800k bounty, 1,145 player kills, 258k infamy and see that they sweat

Ironically, when I think of an Epicenter explorer I remember, the guy who comes to mind is an AO player named “applegiverguy” or something close to that. He is one of the nicest AO players I have ever met.
