What’s the deal with cannon fist?

If you weren’t affected by gravity while holding down the m1 button, it might work. I feel like that’s all Cannon Fist really needs.

Until your opponent jumps onto your ship and all of a sudden being able to sink theirs isn’t as useful

That wouldn’t really make it work.

The entire fighting style at its core is just cooked from the start.

That’s just radius fist with extra downsides

It might not make it work, but it’d definitely make it functional.

Maybe I could downgrade the fighting style to a high level base style.

Like higher than stuff like thermo and lower than radius fist

Besides, having a metal ball on your leg is cool. Like playing like Rock Lee with weights.

in my opinion, they need to change it so that cfist can actually hit enemies
right now its the splash that hits them, but not the initial projectile
this means we cant have sam turrets that shoot down sirens at an insane pace

i think this has to do with how the player-controlled canonballs (whether by siege, canon or cfist) cannot damage npc’s

while npc ships can damage our crew for some reason

i find it unfair

i would also like damage dealt to ships by cfist to count towards the ‘you sunk the ship with your ship so you get sealed chests’ rule
