Since Spirit Weapons are going to resemble little trinkets or magical staves, what spirit weapon would you want to see eventually? Personally, I’d just want a blessed book type of weapon.
this fuckass ghost’s Lantern and Scythe
I’d like a bracelet or necklace kind of spirit weapon
Ornate sash with gem in its center (not just rag, but entire armored belt)
idk like a single glove or even a prothesis
i feel like we dont have enough stuff to have one arm be different than the other, i kinda like the concept of having one arm dedicated to spirit and the other to magic or whatever
could make the glove ghostly and all guh~! like imagine rauru’s arm in tears of the kingdom
Vetex really should bring back something similiar to Theos’s gauntlent.
Fancy oar.
What if later on in the game you meet the peacekeeper and they give you Theos’s gauntlet and it turns out it’s a spirit weapon
Peacekeeper won’t be making a cameo in AO
Impossible, if I am not mistaken, Theos crafted his armor himself and gods who had heat magics were already dead.
Apollo was still alive
but yes, he had no part in the creation of the gauntlet
Theos is just that guy
Fair enough
Same here. A defense-based book blessed by Athena.
Floating stone tablet for Finn
Not sure about design but I want a spirit weapon skill that function like a stand
EXCALIBURRRRR!!!
I mean, its not a staff or book and is an actual weapon, but considering how there’s inspiration from the Arthurian Legend in AO, it would be interesting if it turns out Excalibur exists and is actually a Spirit Weap. In the legend, ir was given by the “Lady of the Lake”. It’d be interesting if it turned out to be some mymph that delivered it to Arthur from Poseidon or something.
These types of Spirit Weaps tho might be the main items used by Knights tho (actual weapons that got blessed by the Gods rather than random objects)
Spirit Weapon: Scythe: I want a Spirit Weapon where the Player uses both hands to hold a scythe, then on the player’s waist is a fairy trapped in some kind of cage/container/Lantern, and you use the fairy’s power to strengthen the power of the scythe. The Ultimate Rite would be killing the Fairy to power up the Scythe, when the fairy is killed the blade of the scythe will turn into the same color that the Player’s Spirit Energy is (The energy is also liquidy, which is the property of the Fairies blood coming into play). This would essentially function as Ultimate Art Aura/Focus. Once the mode ends you are in a weakened state and have to wait for cooldown to be over for the Fairy to respawn.
For extra detail: The fairy that respawns is different each time which means you are committing fairy genocide for power
(Inspired by Faries from Zelda and Testament from Guilty Gear)
The Holy Hand Grenade
Probably have charred and blinding synergy
And Athena’s bronze rattles that Hercales use to scare off those scary birds.
Or even yet, the hide of Artemis’s sacred deer.
A floating blue fire lantern
