this is a no tutorial run lol

yall have any idea how to make that curved orange cloth over these sticks?

Why not add smaller sticks but bit higher so they pass trought cloth?

Either invoke a circle using Shift + A, or create a bridge using Ctrl + E.

ive moved on to a new weapon
this is gonna be one of Zoro’s swords

Katanas are a good way to test your topology skills (despite being solid objects that shouldn’t necessitate any). I can only wish you good luck with it (they’re difficult for first-time projects).

yall like the watermark design tho right

heres a check in
i haven’t been on blender lately but our katana is halfway done

omg i hate modeling this

katana is basically done
just gotta change the handgaurd and add textures

Invoke Plain Axes from the Empty category before creating a circle, modifying it in an Array formation, and change its modifier settings to ‘Object Offset: Plain Axes’.
After committing to this unholy summoning, go in edit mode and offset the Circle (as to not move the point of origin). Then, rotate the Plain Axes and behold the observable magic occur.

Again, you’re better off:

  • Not learning blender without tutorials and guides
  • Using a circle

You won’t be able to learn how to make use of the grease pencil without tutorials, nor can I explain all modifiers as I haven’t touched all of them either (especially considering that I haven’t touched blender in a year).
