Considering that Nimbus is…ehhhhhh.. a bit better than bronze..
The correct answer. He couldn’t even grasp the character of juniper
Are you sure
he could not even begin to write a character with as much sauce as jack
To be fair, from all the theory crafting thats possible from Skyhall alone (even though its probably accidental) was fun to think about..perhaps something i liked the most..
I liked the first half of skyhall the 2nd half is insultingly bad it ruined it all since its character assassination the plot
The characters were just born, it’s not assassination, it’s just abortion.
Fair enough
What do you mean by this? I don’t know if you’re talking about the literal assassination or characters being used poorly by the story.
Yes to both
So the assassination is simply bad. If the order goal were to kill allanon, why? Hes a legacy that’s what they want capture him you idiots but they shouldn’t have even succeeded where they were. Where they do it is visible by Callahan, allanon, and Silas and allanon can FLY! He should have zoomed over there with his bloody wings and saved her instead of running there like a chud saying something like “let her go!” And get stabbed him self. Callahan (assuming he’s not an order spy) is a trained guard for many years completely WHIFFS his LIGHT ATTACK hitting the ROOFS instead of his target. Allanon fiance, was literally fridged. She was introduced just to die to make Allanon sad. She was not a character she was a tool and vetex wants to be an author. We then have mage skin and that’s bad bad. It’s said to not make you blood thirsty and such only making you more temperamental and prone to anger but Allanon who was pretty much a pacifist before striving for world peace now wants complete genocide on his people. Okay vetex, I guess that’s a little angry huh. Also we then must ask the question. Why are the grey ones cannibals portrayed as unintelligent and simple. It’s not the mage skin disease supposedly as one would think, what’s the reason vetex. All of this just so we fight Allanon. Also we go to the sky halls to recruit for sameria. Skyhall military is only double digits, don’t know naval combat, and actually suck as they can’t defeat the grey ones instead having to resort to starvation tactics
. The only interesting thing possible from this arc is Callahan being an order spy but if that’s not the case this is the most filler and waste of time chapter to date.
He was the one singular road block to Lucian and Veronica securing power to themselves (And The Order)
Also if the Order was aware that we were here (unlikely theory) angering Allanon could’ve potentially gotten us (A huge pain in the neck) killed.
He just watched 2 of his best friends get merked right infront of him, he was running while casting the spell (BAD!!!) and extremely stressed. Afterward, he couldn’t chase after them because first off, you can’t just throw blasts around in a crowded city and second; they probably hid their aura in some way.
This means nothing to the order. At worst they are racist douches bitches which is also why they’d never work with the order who are sea folk. They’re red herrings
He’s a trained guard for situations like this. His job is to keep allanon alive for this very situation. And again it’s not like he grazed the assassin or just hit a bad area. He whiffs, COMPLETELY. He wasn’t even remotely close. Also hiding aura is not an ability shown to us yet so we can’t rule it in. You can make it smaller but they were point blank and in eye sight. This is all excused if he’s an order member him self but until then this is a great tragedy of writing
10 years of being a writer and the depth went from a teaspoon that sees itself as a teaspoon to a spoon soup that sees itself as the Marianna trench
AA story wasn’t great but atleast it never pretended to be more then it was
Securing an entire kingdom for themselves, means nothing to the order…the order that is trying to nab as much political power as possible to further they own goals? God knows what prodigies might pop up in there for them to kidnap. Calvus fell to the hands of the order because he was promised power and I am sure that the hyper racist ethno-state royalty would reallllllyy love promises like that.
Okay this requires some assumptions to be made to make sense. But it’s safe to say that Callahan was mediocre guard, he doesn’t seem to be all that well trained for things like these…perhaps the capital of Skyhall suffers from a lack of crime…or he’s just ass
It’s also safe to say that accidents happen sometimes. Sometimes a guy might actually just miss that bad. Sometimes a guy is just that buns……If we were to try and find Order members by looking at the worst performing characters in a group, then we’d end up with the Order Morden theory.
Apparently Allanon’s entire family hates him since there’s no way in hell they’d be leaving the heir to the throne and future hope of Skyhall in the hands of some kid who can’t hit some fleeing scoundrels a beam of light, the fastest magic, from 2 meters away.
All things considered, makes perfect sense the Forsaken exist as a group. If you’re moderately powerful, Skyhall is a literal free estate for assassination contracts.
For the order to get skyhall you need 1 of 3 things.
1- convince the king, that’s not happening. He actually seems to care about his people to the point he kills his son for then
2- convince the queen, maybe but she seems to be the true ruler of skyhall and she seems contempt. Like her son she is also realisticly racist to sea folk as its logical that’s where he gets it so on that basis she wouldn’t agree
3- convince the prince. Who is outwardly racist to sea folk to the point he talked down on the prince’s fiance who was likely to be the next queen, you’re never convincing him to work with sea salt sorry.
The only candidate we know is Callahan to be the order spy
Callahan also trained his magic for 7 years to be Allanon personal guard. That’s not a nothing role. He has one of the most important roles a guard can have. Protecting a direct member of the royal family and in this case the current heir to the crown. You give this to your most trusted and trained knights. To suggest they’d leave a mid tier guard to the heir of the crown is moronic in it self truthfully
The forsaken should have been an assassin circle that was too weak for the sea so went to the sky with no competition.
I want screenshots for all of it
