anyways, for everything else, it completely depends on what community they are involved in often.
13-15 (sometimes older people too) year olds think that making their OCs edgy makes them cool, mainly because of popular examples but I don’t blame em. everyone has that phase lol, but also some people use their Edgy OCs as a form of escapism because they wanna be the cool mysterious dark person.
honestly if we all just had completely normal people as OCs that’d be fucking hilarious
