Why does light magic not have healing properties

I would assume it’s associated with divine light though, considering life mutates from it, same way death mutates from shadow, even though shadows on their own aren’t explicitly related to death

Greek mythology is not western but alr

Divine light has nothing to do with base light bruh

well, it isn’t

in aa shadow gave the wither status effect so this makes sense

ok then why do death and sacrifice mutate from shadow

because in aa shadow gave the wither status effect

so shadow magic is associated with death? and it mutates into death?

greece is in the eastern hemisphere

yes because shadow magic gave the wither status effect, it was killing you

Shadow, sacrifice, and death are the closest magical forms of chaos

and light mutates into life magic?

and the life magic user is called “angel”, implying angels are part of some sort of mythology in the AU?

it is far easier to see the connection of “divine light, divine healing, so life magic” rather than “light starts life” which is only true for organisms that undergo photosynthesis

plus in that case water and earth should mutate into life

Angel isnt canon

oh (

and like remember this is just magic energy pretending to be something, so the magic literally has to be based off the thing itself, not a variant of that thing (light, not divine light)

still either way
i doubt life heals because “light starts life”
in that case, water and earth should become life too right?
its much much easier to see the connection between light and divine healing, its a really common fantasy trope that vetex probably at least thought of once or twice

yes because it’s the source of all life

i agree

this depends on who you ask, i just see light as light, not anything inherently divine

light does start life, as literally everything comes from it (carnivores eat herbivores and herbivores eat plants, which do photosynthesis)

it would also make sense for fire to mutate into explosion, and yet it doesn’t

the first organisms were a bunch of chemicals that didn’t really start “from light”

still, plants also need soil to grow. soil contains water and earth

and those don’t mutate into life

correct, however, they used light

and even if that wasn’t the case in the past, it is the case in the now and when humans first got magic
