i also think that water and earth should mutate into life, but my guess is that vetex either didn’t want life magic to be so common or just didn’t think of that
equinox
im assuming that vetex was thinking of divine light which is associated with healing though
Life = light + ???
plugging in water and earth hardly makes sense
not all mutations are combinations of magics
probably, but that doesn’t mean light can heal on its own, or maybe he was thinking of photosynthesis, who knows
yeah so that begs the question in the title
it doesn’t, light can’t heal because it’s just light, it’s not anything special like divine rays that shine down from heaven
Mutations are no more so it doesnt matter
then the aspect life mutation brought out / added was the divine part, since light magic is just magic energy pretending to be actual light. pretty sure the light curse is also literally light itself
actually mutations are still canon, the war seas just doesn’t need them anymore
the aspect of the magic dosent need to explicitely show itself before being specialized into a mutation
we dont question earth magic turning into magma magic
Different intensity light has different effects, I’d assume that our character doesn’t exactly have the fine control required to limit their magic output to either heal or bring out that properly
also arcane adventures was mega inspired by one piece
light magic probably was in part based off of kizarus fruit which doesnt heal
the phoenix fruit does heal though
so one piece plays a part too
yeah but magma can be seen as a combination of earth + fire
the same logic dosent apply to explosion, what would explosion be adding
Kaboom
idk thats another thing
maybe theyre both big and volatile idk
how tf does earth become shatter tho
Earth turns into sand, sand turns into glass, glass shatters, there you go
it breaks
