So how does the mind work is it based off a random magic?
If you are born with your first mind unlocked, you will be given access to one the base magics at random

Well that depends if you want to count stuff like frostmetal, storm, and equinox as magic combinations or something entirely new

I think the only canon man-made magic is equinox (at least if the AA webtoon is canon)

According to the AA comics, magic residing in minds are based off of personality. However, it’s not really canon, so I can’t say if it works like that or not.
The mind’s magic itself is probably random.
and china invented guns because they did nothing but fight themselves
