I run away from gankers in the first place, this change stops that from happening. I get to be forced to do something that I don’t want to do in a video game that I’m playing for fun.
Again, because of a minority, we’re all being punished.

YOU being forced into a situation you don’t want to be in shouldn’t make certain things insanely annoying, PvP will always be a part of AO and ganking will always exist. PvE players shouldn’t just expect the game to hand them a hypothetical cookie and grant them immunity to a game system because they don’t want to use/engage in it. You aren’t special because you don’t know how to PvP or are getting outnumbered in a fight. If it really gets under your skin learn how to PvP or play with some friends because at the end of the day it’s a pirate game and pirate games will always have groups of players together and will always have PvP.

Combat tag only takes effect if you attack first or deal the same amount of damage / percentage of total health back to the enemy
