I think its at most equal, morock, despite what skittles may believe, is actually not the most op character in all of fiction. (also our character can look at his sword without being blinded instantly)
source? maybe lelouch is a close second, but thats only talking about drip.
the PK nor anybody but Morock ever canonicly use it, which means it probably WOULD visually harm other people, it just hasn’t been used in a century.
he just a bad b
I’d bet you there’s something about people’s missusage of spirit energy which, as far as i’m concerned, could be his domain in lore
On the other hand, just because they oppose the main vharacter that doesn’t make them evil, it just makes them the antagonist.
spirit energy is literally creation, so id assume its under creations jurisdiction
But i mean, if there’s an “underworld” for him to rule over the “souls” of the deceased, he must have some authority over souls.
Either way, i mentioned in another comment, but just because Hades is seen as an antagonist, it doesnt mean he belongs with the same guys we’re hunting rn
For example, the order might’ve experimented with stuff they shouldn’t, warranting the wrath of Hades. And for all he cares, we’re just part of the problem since we’re some sort of successful experiment. At best we’re just a symbol of the problem he’s trying to avoid, at worst we’re a threat.
This is more of a way they can make Hades an antagonist without being generic, rather than what i think will actually happen tho
souls =/= spirit energy, spirit energy is the energy of creation, magic is the energy of destruction. gods have control over both, humans have control over magic, which was prometheus’s gift. so hades wouldn’t have unique control over spirit energy, he would just be a normal god who happens to own the underworld.
Even still, there’s a goddess of magic by the name of Hecate in greek mythology, so i wonder what could that mean in this context.
pretty sure they had dominion over all the “supernatural stuff” not specifically magic, so stuff like satyrs or nymphs would be what they have. Not magic energy.
Can he beat morock tho-
Satyrs and nymphs are cratures of Pan (both in greek mythos and in lore)
well tbh I have no idea but I don’t think vetex is canon to the Greek mythos either so who knows
Zeus got thunder, Poseidon got water, Prometheus got Promethean Flame, what’d hades get?
The Earth
“cursed earth” according to vetex iirc
Why is the earth CURSED
So purple dirt?
cuz its dead and in the underworld idk
Earth isn’t even alive in the first place
