Still doesn’t change the question that since most mutations from AA were made into base magics, it would be difficult to understand why specifically mud is a lost magic.
I never underestimating the “slowing down” ability, but looking at how much mobility we’ve been given, i doubt it’ll be strong.
If you looked at the other lost magics, you would see why the question of “why is mud a lost magic” is being raised.
Also, (I already repeated this so many damn times) the majority of popular mutations in AA were made into base magics in WoM, THEREFORE, mud as a lost magic is concerning due to the fact magma and ash with much cooler and stronger abilities/stats were not put into the “lost” section.
Everything that was’nt hard to code (Ash and Poison is just clouds ; Magma is just hot hot water etc.) made up to be Base magics. And Vet wanted them to be Base, just get it.

Diamond is hard but its not tough, meaning it breaks really easily if you directly hit something else with it. Hardness is dependent on scraping which diamond is one of the best materials for.
Its why any time you look at high end tools, they usually have some diamond on the drill parts.
Mud litterely new mechanic of slowing down opponenets…Its Earth combined with Water that can slow down opponenets JUST BY SOMEONE STEPPING ON PUDDLE.

True, but remember we are gonna have all this in AO, dashes, high jumps, magic jumps, and (possibly) weapon jumps. Our mobility is so fucking insane, we are always gonna be in the air, so either way this “slowing” ability is useless, and even if it did hit, im sure asf it’d be ez to escape.
