Sometimes with the Reddit level of obsession, we are talking about a game of being a kleptomaniac murderhobo. It’s nice we got to have a deeper talk about a conversation. But I do feel things can get too carried away with how intense the theory is and how there is a vibe of “smug” when you miss a bit about the lore and it becomes a game of “erm… actually the lore says” on who to checkmate to boast about this game knowledge.
I can relate to you on some level, I remember my first post in this forum about why World of Magic don’t have guns. and it sparked a huge amount of backlash for saying “If cannons on ship still exists, why not guns?” They sure can just invent anything from preexisting technology right?

I think it’s mostly a lack of respect towards others’ differences, missing knowledge/information, beings, and a lack of awareness of oneself’s unawareness.
