depends on blocking you will have iframes out of getting m1ed cuz if you didnt you just die
also they were going to add rushes to magic however that would work
or if you dont like my idea then rushes could just be like the exiled’s rush attack
So you spend your time blocking and forgot about the person who legit just finished grabbing you so the first guy that grabs you now uses 2 individual blasts instead. 600+ damage for no risk.
you get knocked away from the m1 so you cant get blasted right out of it
You can tho… How far are you getting blasted? It needs to be like 20 meters to not just get blasted right after and at that point the coliseum would be too small.
well also cuz you cant read my mind so ima try to explain it in all its detail
you need to get SUPER close to a person to hit the rush, like they could blast you right when you think of doing it and it also gives a warning above their head.
if someone blocks it they can counter the attack since i dont think heavy attacks guard break in game so they shouldn’t in m1 combat
if they land one in the air they slam the person down dealing less dmg overall but the person could roll or just get iframes when touching and flying down to the ground.
after landing an m1 the person that did the m1 cant do anything for a short time maybe 1-2 second so that they cant just blast attack, they can only magic jump
the person sent flying can just magic jump instantly when they catch their footing and they will before the other person can use a blast again
also i came up with a new idea for balancing this the rush could be changed from an auto lock on to you dash to where your mouse is aimed and if you miss you get stunned for a second.
also getting hit cancels rushes
Feels like the wrong game, that sounds like something out of GPO
exiled has a rush and also with the whole custom fighting style moves maybe you could change stuff about the rush
His rush is tping in front of you without stunning and also isn’t guaranteed to hit. He’s a boss not a player.
yeah but also this is just an idea i have cuz there isn’t really many ways to fight up close like how they show characters in the lore fighting.
like rushes would just be one move that you can only use so often and it would just be so that fighting styles and even basic combat have a reason to have an m1.
Doesn’t feel like the combat the game’s going for though. By that logic why doesn’t magic have an m1?
they said later you could get melee magic moves
also magic is usually your ranged attacks
fighting styles that are normal like radius swaying or boxing use your hands or feet to fight with but no one uses swaying or boxing for its fist combat its always to get out the way of an attack.
Those aren’t m1
still they are close but i wouldn’t think the thing used for ranged attacks would have an m1
