Will gunpowder weapon be a thing in WoM?

guns should be in the game and the lore reasoning behind it is dumb. are you telin me that therr has been no technological advancements and theres no historisn or abandoned chest with a gun? stupid

You know that a gun can’t survive 2000 years in working condition right?

i dont expect it to work i expect it to be reverse engineered. the idea and knoledge of guns didnt disappear from peoples brains or history books

I mean, @donk has a point. But we don’t need realism, if Vetex says “guns go bye bye,” then guns go bye bye. Make guns go bye bye like your life defends on it, because it does.

I’m not talking about the game.

i agree that we should just agree with vetexs decisions rhat guns are removed its his game but my problem was @Soleil_Xrd abrassiveness and condescending thinking that the lore doesbt have plot holes and things that dont make sense while being rude about it
lore is solid but dont be super defensive wehn someone reveals plot holes

I don’t see why guns would be a bad addition. It’s more diversity with weapons n more s p i c e and they can be balanced easily aswell with damage/reload buffs/nerfs. It’s a win-win situation to add those. but yeah most likely won’t happen, sadly

Guns as legendary weapons even though that really isn’t possibe :eyes:

Guns would be a fine addition to the game if you ask me.

Just have magic bullets, lol.

magic blunderbuss be like

Plasma hand cannon O_

Gold arm cannon! OOOOO_____

no u shut the fuck up

toxic dumbass

The irony

yeah sure that knowledge doesn’t disappear until you consider that most people on the continent don’t know about the AG or the dark wizard

the weapons used during that time period certainly aren’t remembered either, and especially when magic was the prevalent force even back then

the main “history books” by WoM ages would talk about these same things, as all the people of note didn’t use firearms, they used magic.

there is no “plot hole” there’s just whining to argue for having guns again when there’s a gameplay and story reason

yes welcome to the magic world where if you don’t have magic you’re fucked

like almost every other fantasy universe

Regarding this post, all I can say is that yes, there may be some clear plot holes about guns.
But, still, gameplay-wise, they won’t be added.
Such is the reasoning that vetex gave us, and I know that many of you guys are going to dislike this reasoning, but this is what the OWNER of the game told us.

Since I can’t reply on my thread, I just want to let you know that my post wasn’t about gameplay, it was an alternative take on the lore. I completely understand why guns won’t be a thing, and I’m fine with that. If my post was violating any other rules, and that’s why it was taken down, well, rip.

God this post are getting more and more popular and it attracts mod and tester into this conversation with angry people

First of all IDC of gun’s are not added it’s okay and I understand why Vetex remove them however all I did is pointing out it’s strange if ships in WoM had cannons and still maintain the peace for 2000 year, No one wanna be treated unfairly and it’s strange, you don’t have to be super fucking mad over a plot hole

All I did is pointing out Vetex reasoning for it are flawed, you don’t have to take it all serious God

3 words: Black Clover’s Asta

You can’t tell me there are no absurdly powerful magicless humans or scientists that want to try and close the gap between wizard and commoner.
(Unfortunately this fails because lol wizards can use the tech too)

I actually made a shitpost about this, here’s the link. Basically, it’s about how the Magic Council is suppressing the development of guns and other forms of technology that could threaten the wizard’s superior over commoners.

And then Phutershep thought I was complaining about guns not being in AA, and then had another mod lock my post. No, it isn’t being unlocked. No, I don’t know why. Only that it isn’t. I was given no real explanation about why it was locked, the mod who locked it, Coder, only did it because another unnamed person asked him to. Really was a massive bruh moment, but hey, let this be a lesson.

Edit: never mention guns, unless you have at least 4 disclaimers lest you draw the attention, and by extension the wrath, of someone you shouldn’t…
