i think vetex said like rarity of legendary weapons for 1 skill
I was going off Vetās statement from years ago of ancient magics being around legendary weapon rarity (1/20k) and comparing it to SSā 1/8k, but tbh Iām hoping chances will be slightly better than that
If its not fishing and I can go into full roguelite mode (the dark seas) to improve my odds, Iām happy.
id be surprised if lost magics were that high of a chance from fishing

What? But theyād be the rarest item in the game by far, and completely unobtainable. Of course there would be high demand.
currently most if not all of headlessās demand stems from people wanting to get a token to end game stuff
i dont really think that will change once ao is out either. Once everyone who wanted a headless for that purpose has traded their headless for end game stuff they will likely not want to get another headless anymore. Furthermore when the game reaches end game, updates will stop which results in little to no new players joining anymore to replenish this group of people.
The only 2 other groups of people that would want a headless would be collectors (small part of the community) or people that want a headless for vanity (never even seen or heard of such a person so this group would likely be really small).
tl;dr: most people want it for trading value. Once that becomes less important less people will want to have a headless = lower demand = lower value
I know a video of somebody catching a SSS does that make it rarer?
But if Headlesses can be traded for ancients and legendaries, theyāll be valuable and people want valuable items. I donāt understand why you think the value will decrease just because people start trading them for endgame items.
not immediately ofc but once that phase is over these people wont need a headless anymore so why would they trade for another one
been there done that (with a lucky bronze rod)

why would you trade for an item thats so valuable when you already have everything you wanted to get with said valuable item
ya vetex is just gonna eternally keep updating one singular game for the rest of his life

He probably has other projects in the back of his head that heād like to get to eventually, I donāt really see the need to come back to AO once itās completed other than some bug fixes
