All the wizards wandered through the sewers, stepping over the waste that covered the floor.
“If i have to go into the sewers for the third time, i will lose it!”
Leon spoke.
“Woah, who were they?”
Young Fang spoke.
“They are the Armed Spirits, the strongest Dark Wizard guild to ever existed, i don’t understand, their guild had been inactive for almost a century now, but now they’re back?”
James spoke.
“There they are.”
A Dark Wizard spoke and alerted themselves to the Wizards.
“Explosive Barrage!”
Leon blasted the ceiling over them, caving them in briefly.
The Wizards ran the opposite way as they destroyed the obstacle.
“Ice Blast!”
Both James and Old Fang froze the floor, causing them to slip and slide into a pool of toxic waste.
“Fire Blast!”
A Dark Wizard melted the ice away as more started pursuing them.
After many more minutes of the magical chase, they met a dead-end in a large room where all the drains connected to, at the center was the where all the sewage-water leaded too.
“We can not run much longer, we must attack them!”
James spoke.
“Get ready!”
Old Fang spoke.
All of the wizards got ready, as Sarah grabbed an RPG out of their backpack and aimed it at the entrance.
The Dark Wizards entered, all of them engaging in a destructive battle.
Leon would explode the Dark Wizards, their limbs blowing right off their bodies, Old Fang stood infront of Young Fang.
“No more running!”
Old Fang held onto Young Fang’s head, sharing his memories with him.
Young Fang’s eyes opened wide, his eyes turning black and horns growing out of his head.
“Shadow Scythe!”
Young Fang conjured a shadow-weapon and began teleporting around the room, slashing open each Dark Wizard.
“Oof, feels great to be back.”
Young Fang smiled.
While this happened, more Dark Wizards entered the sewers, all of the heroes getting ready to duel them.
Many minutes of dueling past, all the Dark Wizards dying one by one.
“Explosi-”
Leon attempted blasting the General.
“Glass Barrier!”
The General positioned a reflective mirror that deflected the blast right back at Leon.
“Neugh!”
Leon fell to the floor, having severe burn wounds on his chest.
“No!”
Sarah screamed in anger, grabbing out her shotgun.
She would shoot the General in the chest, exposing a large wound in the center of this chest, killing him.
Sarah went to Leon and touched his face.
“I- i’m fine.”
Leon smiled, hiding the pain.
-Meanwhile-
Ryan would wake up in a car, underneath the debris of skyscrapers and ruble.
“Uah, where am i?”
Ryan groaned in pain as he gripped his stitched up torso.
Ryan tried opening the door, but the ruble proved too heavy to move out the way.
“Okay, Sapphire Blast!”
He yelled as he blasted the door.
“Sapphire Blast!”
He’d yell again.
“One more time…SAPPHIRE BLAST!”
Ryan screamed, finally releasing himself from the car.
“No, was i too late?”
He looked around to see the city of Retrohaven in ruins.
Ryan looked over to see a tall-figure in the distance.
“Hey, what happened here?”
He ran over to the figure.
“Stay still or we’ll attack!”
Three Dark Wizards appeared Ryan.
“Sapphire Beam!”
Ryan shot the two with fast shards of crystals, piercing the two.
“Excuse me, we need to leave it’s too dangerous-”
Ryan touched his back, being dwarfed over by the figure.
Airis picked Ryan off the floor by the throat and threw him into the remains of a building, injuring him greatly.
“Auh!”
Ryan yelled.
“How naïve can you be to trust me?”
Airis slowly approached him.
“S- Sapphire Blast!”
Ryan conjured a spell.
“Melt Metal.”
Airis blasted a bendable metal that curved to evade the blast and knocked Ryan backwards.
“Arrrugh!”
Ryan screamed, activating his tendril, the appendage tearing off a piece of clothing with his eyes glowing yellow.
He leaped into the air, before doing a series of fast and devastating assaults, this caught Airis off guard and he’d be stabbed twice.
“Irk!”
Airis grunted.
Cassandra and Spencer arrived and started to carry Airis into the air, once high, they’d drop him.
“Melt Metal!”
Airis grabbed both Cassandra and Spencer with Melt Metal as they all fell.
Airis managed to save himself by sliding down a titled skyscraper and once he landed he slammed the two Ghosts into the ground, causing them both to vanish.
“Pathetic.”
Airis whispered to himself.
“You’ll come with me…”
Icarus spoke as he teleported both himself and Ryan away.
Icarus dropped Ryan into an abandoned Prison room, surprisingly, the lights were still on, as the Mysterious Ghost observed him, a devilish grin emerging on his face.
-Meanwhile-
In the hospital zone within the Tophat Organization, multiple members were being treated to, all of them having extreme frostbite and piercing wounds, including Oliver.
“Will he heal it off?”
The Leader spoke.
“He’ll live, but he won’t regrow his limbs.”
The Nurse spoke as he looked at the mutilated Oliver.
“He was right…this has gone too far, we must summon the God.”
The Leader spoke to himself as he left the room.
In his office, the book would be still on the table, left behind by Oliver, The Leader walked towards it and opened it.
“There’s only two pages?”
The Leader was surprised.
“Per potestatem a me obsessam dolum porto Nyrieh ad hunc mundum redeundum, et adiuvandum me pro quacunque mente mea comprehendit!”
The Leader spoke into the book.
“…Nothing, i knew it was a hoax.”
The Leader heard a loud bang from outside the facility.
“What the hell?”
The Leader opened the electronic window-covering to see a dark portal being opened in the day-sky, a large hand escaping through and into the atmosphere.
“He is here.”
The Leader kneeled down as the figure flew towards him from the portal
“Jacobs, you called for my assistance, just what am i in need for?”
A tall man in a red armor entered the room, his hair was long and pale white, his eyes being a glowing purple, this was Nyrieh
“You’re God?”
Jacobs spoke.
“Surprised by my appearance? My real form would fry your brain to the point it’d pour out of your skull.”
Nyrieh laughed.
“W- w- we have…a lot of talk about.”
Jacobs shivered as he finally managed to speak out of fear.
-Meanwhile-
Alice, Denzel, Derrick, Sven, Steve and Kent all saw the sky open up, seeing the figure emerge.
“We’re too late, he is here.”
Alice spoke.
“That’s coming from the town of Summerhold, we must get the others and head their immediately!”
Denzel spoke.
